Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone 20 years edition: Ravenclaw

//harry potter and the philosopher's stone 20 years edition ravenclaw//

For the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter, they came out with limited edition house copies of the Philosopher's Stone. Being a huge Harry Potter fan, I of course had to get myself one of these and also being a proud Ravenclaw, I bought the hardcover Ravenclaw edition.

First, the cover is so pretty, it's black with the title, J.K. Rowling's name and the Ravenclaw house badge in blue. Then the edges of the book are blue with gold stripes on it. Basically, it looks amazing. Also, when the dust cover is removed, it just reveals a black cover but for some reason, it's pretty.

Basically, it's just a normal Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone but with a few added extras into it and a nice cover. So the extras in the book are basically all around Ravenclaw so there are some about Rowena Ravenclaw, the house founder, about memorable Ravenclaw students, the common room, the famous alumni, the head of the Ravenclaw house, the house ghost, relic and livery and so much more, even quizzes.

Personally, I think that buying this limited edition copy is worth it since you not only get the first book but you also get so many extras which I think is cool. It is not very expensive too which helps.

note to self review

//note to self by connor franta//

Connor Franta is an American youtuber and an author of the book 'A Work in Progress' and 'Note to Self'

So this book isn't actually a proper book. It's a book with photographs that Connor took. It also has poems and short stories in it. Even though it's not a book book, I still really enjoyed reading and flipping through the photographs.

The book is filled with poetry that Connor has written, some happy, some heartbreaking and some sad. It is also filled with short stories or excerpts of his experiences. It's such a laid back coffee table book that you could read while you're in a cafe or eating breakfast kind of thing. The photographs that Connor took are mesmerizing. It's very detailed and it just looks amazing. The writings and the pictures combined make for such a good book and I really enjoyed reading it.
