Girl Online // summary+review

//girl online by zoe sugg//

Girl Online is about Penny Porter, she is British and she has panic attacks. But when an embarassing video of her goes viral, she has to overcome her panic attacks. And she does that by frequently posting on her anonymous blog, Girl Online. When Penny's family takes her to New York, she meets Noah, who has a secret that Penny doesn't know yet, but she finds out his secret in a way that she did not expect.

So yes, this book was written by Zoe Sugg, who is a female British youtuber with 11 million+ subscribers, she has released a sequel called Girl Online: On Tour.

I think this book is pretty good although it is somewhat predictable and cheesy. I enjoyed this book and it is a great read for younger teens around the age of 11 or 12. Since Zoe herself has panic attacks, she can portray Penny's experience greatly. Overall, I like this book and I would rate it as a solid 8/10 and I couldn't wait for the third book!

All The Bright Places // summary+review

//all the bright places by jennifer niven//

This book is about a girl named Violet and a boy named Finch, they meet on the ledge of the bell tower at their school. They are so different yet the pair of them team up on a class project to discover the wonders of their state.

Quoted from the official book summary: "Soon it's only with Violet that Finch can be himself. And it's only with Finch that Violet forgets to count away the days and starts living them. But as Violet's world grows, Finch's begins to shrink."

This book is such a heart-wrenching, sad book. It has stories of grief and love. This book, I think, is a great book for people that are finding a reason to be here since Finch himself is managing to find something that will keep him here, alive, and awake. I recommend this book for teenagers that are finding a great contemporary read. I enjoyed reading this book so much and absolutely loved it. I give this book a 11/10. :)
