The Maze Runner book review+summary

long time no see.. so this review will be on the book The Maze Runner by James Dashner. It is a trilogy and it also has 2 other books which are prequels. The second book is The Scorch Trials, the third is The Death Cure. The first prequel is The Kill Zone and the second is The Fever Code which will be published by the end of 2015.

It all starts one day when Thomas wakes up inside a steel lift. When it comes to a stop, he is surrounded by 50 boys more or less. He finds out that in the Glade -as the boys like to call it- there are no girls at all. In one day, he finds out that they are surrounded by brick walls that inside of those walls is a maze. One of the most important rules in the Glade is that no one is allowed to go in the maze except if they are a runner. One day, when Alby -the leader of the Glade- goes inside to investigate with Minho, one of the runners, to investigate a dead griever -a mechanical animal that stings people-. When they do not come back before the sun sets, when the brick walls close, everyone  becomes worried. They were seen when one of the walls are about to close, Thomas decided that he would go break one of the most important rules, going inside the maze, to save Minho and Alby. After that act, he discovers that no glader has survived one night inside the maze and that to get out of the Glade, they will have to go through the maze, where the grievers live.

Really interesting story right? To find out if Thomas survives, read more in The Maze Runner. I recommend this book if you like Divergent by Veronica Roth. I have read all TMR books except for The Fever Code which hasn't come out yet. After reading the books, the pieces will fit together and it becomes much more interesting than just reading one book from the series.

I think thats it, so see me in my twitter or instagram -F
